Catholic Charities Spotlights Chi-Town Jazz Festival

Here’s a complete performance and venue schedule for the entire Festival.

We are delighted to report that Catholic Charities featured our Jazz Festival Supporting Hunger Relief in Chicago today on their home page today. Take a look.

Catholic Charities fulfills the Church’s role in the mission of charity to anyone in need by providing compassionate, competent and professional services that strengthen and support individuals, families and communities based on the value and dignity of human life. In order to remain faithful to their mission, Catholic Charities is guided by these core values: Respect, Compassion, Competence and Stewardship.

Each year the Chi-Town Jazz Festival donates more than 92% of all money received to two charities devoted to hunger relief. This year they are Catholic Charities’ nutrition programs and Care For Real, the Edgewater Food Pantry that has nearly doubled the number of people fed five years ago.
